The Oculeus Anti-Fraud System was developed with the target to enable telco operators to fight voice and messaging fraud, such as:
in real time within milliseconds to seconds, limiting damages to the bare minimum.
The development started about twelve years ago and resulted in an outstanding comprehensive platform, including AI and machine learning, with more than forty customers to date.
Fully integrated into the operator's network, a state of the art modelling engine, including a sophisticated risk management, tunable alerting, a freely definable set of actions from messaging to blocking/rerouting of traffic combined with a reporting that drills down to cdr level within some clicks, enables fraud teams to operate with ease and guarantees the best results possible.
In operation, Oculeus AFS acts according to the models defined by the fraud team. The operational autonomy is freely definable and can vary from intended interaction to full system autonomy, in which case no human intervention is required to fight fraud.
As such the AFS includes the following elements:
GSMA Call Check's scope is to enhance the security of telecoms communication across networks. It introduces a security layer allowing operators to cooperate (wihout compromising business critical data) in securing their lines of communication with a series of use cases like CLI spoofing detection, roaming status checks, IRSF detection, OBR handling, bypass fraud detection, assigned number checks, call tracing, and others.
The AFS integrates with GSMA Call Check API to support, monitor, follow protocol, and decide the use case based on the feedback provided by the operator’s GSMA Call Check network node.
Oculeus Anti-Fraud System runs 100% on Linux. It does not require any separate database license and its interfaces are completely web-based.
